2017 T20 Celebrity Charity Cricket Match
Continuing my major sponsorship with Prospect District Cricket Club, the third charity cricket match was successfully run on Sunday February 12th 2017 at Prospect Oval, raising money for the Little Heroes Foundation to support seriously ill children.
Little Heroes Foundation raises funds towards essential equipment and services for seriously ill children and their families. In the last 20 years they have raised close to $20 million dollars for life saving facilities at Adelaide's Women and Children's Hospital and provide much required daily support to families through the Little Heroes Care Program. This amazing result by an outstanding foundation made even more impressive with no government funding behind the Little Heroes Foundation.
I am truly grateful to the time and effort so many people gave up to volunteer and support this years event. We successfully raised over $13,000 on the day. My target was $20,000 and I am not giving up until we have hit this target for a six.
I would politely like to ask a favour once again for everyone to take a little time to help the Little Heroes Foundation. They are currently in need of urgent funds for critical medical equipment.
It is as simply as clicking on to the following link and in section 4 reason for supporting note CHARITY CRICKET and hopefully we can get the funds beyond $20,000.

The Little Heroes Foundation is currently supporting over 130 families through what would be one of the most trying and horrific times in their lives. I personally have given significantly and will continue to as if I were in the position of any of these families, I would be forever grateful for the Foundations support.
This event has raised both my daughters, Kashalia and Taylor, awareness of how important that we have such amazing support network as this to help. Both my girls now realise the importance of family, health and community as a whole and dug into their own pocket money and gave generously. Kashalia has even put in her future goals (maybe a little goal orientated like her mother, LOL) to continue to help raise money for children and their families that the Little Heroes Support through their Care Program.
I personally want to thank the champion businesses and superstar people who made the day possible (click on the name for a direct link).

The monster lolly treasure hunt was a hit with the children finding the treasure hidden with all the celebrities.
Andrew Jarman, (aka Pappa Bear), captain of the White team, giving his pregame waffle. Tony Modra can just been seen behind taking it all so seriously.
Jars was blessed to have The Big and Gorgeous guys from Wrestle Rampage on his team
Wayne Weidemann, captain of the Blue team, encouraging his troops to give it their all for the Little Heroes. Great to see Jarrod Walsh listening to his captain.
The Wrestle Rampage had to slightly modify their size 10 playing tops simply to intimidate the opposition.
Great to see Jars displaying his multi tasking skills, while not only captaining the white team, but taking it upon himself to coach superstar Adelaide United player and king of the kids, Tarek Elrich, how AUFC can win the Asian Champions League. As the true gentleman he is, Tarek took all advice on board.
The gorgeous twins from "The Block", Alisa and Lysandra, conducting their final gear check and talking tactics as only they do best to try and take out the win for the white team. World Champion Clay Shooting Gold Medalist, Dennis Lymn, using his eagle eyes to lip read and counteract their game plan.
The Wrestle Rampage boys walking the red carpet to the pitch.
The SANFL legend Grenville Dietrich, sporting is invisible cricket boots and Jack "The baggy yellow" from Surf Culture Australia, passing the bats over to the awesome Waller groms from Adventure Bay Charters, major sponsors.
Cheryl from Surf Culture Australia sending a few good balls the Blue teams way. Paul Stewart from Woodville West Torrens FC eager to get to the other end to lay into a couple himself.
Jason Mills chairman of the Next Gen REISA (Real Estate Institute of South Australia) Committee, chasing down one of Paul Stewarts brilliant hits.
Fynn Hudson-Prentice supplying the winning goods for the second year in a row as well as the 6 for the $500 Catapult Wealth Classic Crowd Catch. Looking forward to seeing you back for a third year Fynn playing for the Pirates and the T20 charity Match. Safe travels my friend and a stella season ahead OS.
Up and coming cricket superstar Harvey Brennan and NAFC ruckman James Craig got right into the spirit of things and provided the crowd with some super shots.
What would a charity event be without champion volunteers. Thank you.
These beautiful ladies are the rocks behind the wonderful fundraising efforts for Little Heroes Foundation all the time. Thank you.
The Woodville West Torrens FC boys having a bit of fun and more so loving the fact they were captained to the win under Wayne Weidemann. Congratulations guys and thank you for your support.
Nova's Jarrod Walsh enjoying being on the other side of the microphone and some quality time with his mates from Adelaide United FC, Mark Ochieng, Nathan Kosmina and the very classy hitter and most probably unofficial Man of the Match, Huss Skandervic.
Three beautiful ladies and ambassadors for the Little Heroes Foundation, Alisa and Lysandra Fraser and Natalie Bode. Thank you again.

The Adelaide United FC guys getting amongst the kids for a little scratch match of footy (round ball type). King of the kids - Tarek Elrich, Mr Cool - Mark Ochieng and the biggest surf grom of them all - Taylor Regan. Cheers guys for taking time on your day off to help out, truly grateful legends.
